According to the CODE and International Standard for Testing and Investigations, athletes in RTP may be given the sanctions as a result of the violations of an anti-doping rule. There are two types of Whereabouts failures: “Filing Failure” and “Missed Test” Filing Failure and Missed Test shall be considered as Whereabouts Failures. Any combination of three (3) Whereabouts Failures (filing failures and/or missed tests) declared by KADA, WADA, or an IF, within 12-month period, the Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) might be applied.
It is called that athletes are unavailable during the specified 60-minutes time slot indicated on their Whereabouts filing without justification.
All information on whereabouts failures will be shared with the testing authority organizations. If any combination of three (3) Whereabouts Failures (filing failures and/or missed tests) declared by KADA, WADA, or an IF, within 12-month period, relevant regulatory will be implemented according to the Article 2.4 of Korea Anti-Doping Agency CODE and WADA CODE.
